All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise indicated.
Applicable taxes and shipping charges, if any, will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. By submitting an order, you authorize the payment provider to charge your selected payment method for the total amount shown at checkout.
I do not directly store complete credit card information.
If a pricing or product listing error affects an order, I will contact you to explain the issue and any available options, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
4. Orders and Order Confirmation
After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation by email.
An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not necessarily guarantee that the order can be fulfilled.
If an item becomes unavailable or an order cannot be completed, I will contact you to arrange an appropriate resolution, including a refund where required.
I reserve the right to decline or cancel orders where there is a legitimate reason, including suspected fraud, payment issues, or product unavailability, subject to applicable law.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Physical books will be shipped to the delivery address provided during checkout.
Shipping costs and available delivery options will be displayed at checkout, where applicable.
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery may be affected by postal delays, weather conditions, customs processing, or other circumstances outside my reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. If you discover an error in your delivery address, please contact me as soon as possible.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other charges imposed by the destination country. Any applicable charges not collected at checkout are generally the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise stated.
Your statutory rights concerning delivery, lost shipments, and undelivered goods remain unaffected.

If your book arrives damaged, is defective, or you receive the wrong item, please contact me at hello@sophieganic.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
Where appropriate, I will arrange a replacement, refund, or other resolution.
For returns requested for reasons other than damage, defects, or an incorrect item, please contact me before returning your purchase. Eligibility for discretionary returns will depend on the return policy communicated at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise agreed, customers may be responsible for return shipping costs for discretionary returns.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any refund, cancellation, or other consumer rights provided by applicable law.
7. Mailing List and Communications
Visitors may voluntarily subscribe to my mailing list to receive updates about books, writing, events, and related news.
By subscribing, you consent to receive the communications described at the time of signup.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those messages.
Purchasing a book does not automatically subscribe you to my marketing mailing list.
Information collected through mailing list subscriptions is handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy.
